Trip Description.
This one week trip explores the famous sites of the Incas, including Cusco, The Sacred Valley and concluding at Machu Picchu. Rather than rushing back to Cusco, we spend one night in Aguas Calientes, with an opportunity to soak in the hot springs before heading up to Machu Picchu for the sunrise.

Brief Itinerary.
Day 1 Flight to Cusco city and tours of the ruins.
Day 2 Inca's Sacred Valley.
Day 3 Exploring of Machu Picchu and the return to Cusco.
Day 4 Second day at Inca's Sacred Valley.
Day 5 Transfer Cusco’s Airport and city tours in Lima city.
Day 6 Free Day, optional Pachacamac Ruins.
Day 7 Transfer to Lima’s airport .
Day 1: Flight to Cusco city and ruins tours.
Once you arrive to Cusco, you will be met by your tour guide and taken from Cusco airport to our hotel for a short initial briefing, and then you will be able to rest a few hours which is essential for successful acclimatization.
Then you will be picked up by your tour guide, who will take you to a tour of the city of Cusco. You will visit the Cathedral, Korikancha (The Temple of the Sun), Qengo (The Temple of The Mother Earth) , Tambomachay and Puca Pucara. As you walk around this wonderful city observing the juxtaposition of the Incas and colonial architecture, you will get the feel of its wonderful atmosphere. Later you will take a ride to the ruins of Sacsayhuaman for great afternoon view of this site. Depending on your arrival time back, there may be time for shopping or more sightseeing in the afternoon.

Day 2: Urubamba Valley: Pisac & Ollantaytambo – Machu Picchu.
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up by your tour guide and driven to the Urubamba Valley (1 hour drive), which lies at a lower altitude and makes acclimatization easier. The Urubamba river valley is dotted with villages, markets and archaeological sites. On the way you will visit the wonderful ruins of Pisac and its famous market. Lunch at the lovely Farm Tanupa, the private estate of one of Cusco's oldest land owning families. A textile demonstration and cocktails will be given at the garden. Followed by a gourmet lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the village and the Inca site of Ollantaytambo, which boasts some of the finest Inca architecture known.
